Saw Sharpening

We have invested £100,000 in the latest TCT saw grinding machine from Vollmer, the leading grinding machine manufacturer.
This machine grinds the blades in a single operation thus guaranteeing the perfect tooth geometry . This together with the oil grinding/coolant system gives a quality of finish second to none . 
The machine can be programmed with up to 100 blades on the stack .The robot loader then takes over loading the machine which means we can run all night & weekends .
This machine is just part of our continued investment in new equipment to service our customers needs into the future.

Knife Grinding

To the right is one of our knife grinding machines for sharpening guillotine blades, planer blade, chipper knives & granulator blades. 

We also sharpen router cutters, bandsaws, 
end mills, hand chisels, handsaws, tenon saws, chainsaw blades, mortice chisels, spindle cutters, plus a lot more...too much to list!!

All blades, once ground, are covered in a protective coating to prevent damage and injury
