Sedgwick TA450 Rip Sawbench - This British engineered cast iron table ripsaw bench represents excellent value for money. The saw is driven by a high powered, quiet 7.5 hp induction motor that will run reliably, day in, day out in trade workshops. The saw has a large abrasion proof cast iron table, precision planed, this offers minimal friction, ensuring smooth, safe workpiece passage. The grey iron castings help absorb and dampen any vibration. An optional sliding table is abailable with either 610mm or 1200 mm stroke allowing you to turn this into a flexible dimension saw. The cast iron rip fence assembly slides freely along its graduated rail and locks rigidly. Two well positioned hand wheels allow for exact blade height & tilt adjustment. Sedgwick 571 Chisel Morticer
The Sedgwick Plus Tenoner, APTESH, has two separately powered heads which enable both sides of the tenon to be cut in one pass, the shoulders being offset if required. The heads are each equipped with 4 replaceable shear-cutting knives and two spur cutters for clean shouldered tenons. An additional third motor is provided to drive a scribing head for accurately scribed individual mouldings. An Axminster Universal block is also provided for light use and for heavier work a Sedgwick scribing head may be purchased as an extra. Each block has 4 shear cut replaceable knives and 2 spur cutters. Provision for 2 scribing cutters and chip limiters is provided in the top head only. The machine has cam action clamping levers for fast, secure work holding.
